It is Wednesday again and the highlight of the week. Coffee Break is a great day, and we had a good class today, as usual. We are studying Romans and there are some hard truths to grasp, but also wonderful truths that Paul puts to us very forthrightly. It was also fun because Brenda brought Emma to Little Lambs, the class for two year olds, and she came to lunch with me at the Gathering Place. She did very well with the 5 adults there, and we had a good time.
She took a good nap of 2+ hours and by then Brenda was here. Brenda was under the weather today, so she worked a short day at her office. It was nice she could get that in and hopefully she will be feeling much better by tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will be getting out early again as I have a dental appointment at 8 AM to get a tooth replaced that had a chip. ( It was a tooth that was one of the front top 5 teeth that were veneered, and the one tooth did not hold up well at all) Bummer. The dentist chair is not my favorite place to be. At 10 a gal from church will be coming over so we can work on some details from the Caring Committee. We call church members to provide meals to people that are sick and need the extra assistance. I have been working on that c0mmittee for many years as a back up, but the other gal quit, and now I need a backup.
Everett helped me hang a few pictures this evening, and I really appreciate it. He also has been cleaning up the lower garage and organizing the tools in the toolbox. He has gotten most of it cleaned up, and then he can start on some of the other projects that are waiting for him.
In a week we will be leaving for SD, to spend some time with Mom. She seems to be holding her own, but it has to be difficult to spend each day in one place, not being able to go anywhere on her own. Please pray that she is given the peace and strength for each day.
